The Walkure Cafe was a temporary collaboration event which ran at Area-Q in Harajuku from April 7 to April 23.

The following gallery was taken by SpeakerPODcast co-host Adrian, who made sure to capture all the little messages and comments that the actual members of Walkure left for their fans.

As part of a collaboration with Macross Delta to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Macross, and to commemorate the upcoming release of the ‘Walkure Won’t Stop’ concert bluray on May 31, Softmap is currently displaying Walkure costumes from their concert in Yokohama, and entries from a Macross Modelers contest.

The display opened on Friday April 28, and the SpeakerPODcast Crew was there so early that staff were actually still setting it up!

An art exhibit for famed illustrator Yoshitaka Amano, best known for his work on Final Fantasy and Vampire Hunter D, was held in Tokyo from Jan. 29 to Mar. 8, 2016.

Titled, “Evolving Fantasy”, it differed from most such exhibits in that photography was permitted.

Below is a gallery of photos I managed to snap. Given the exhibit lighting conditions, some were taken at less than ideal angles in an attempt to avoid glare and reflections.

Wonder Festival 2017 Winter was held at Makuhari Messe on Sunday, Feb.19.

This year’s Tamashii Nations exhibit of upcoming toys that everyone wants but few can actually afford was held at the UDX Building in Akihabara this past weekend (Oct.28-30).
