With the madness of “Macross February” finally behind us, the SpeakerPODcast Crew takes some time out to chill with a few drinks and discuss Walkure’s 3rd concert and the marketing synergy behind it in more detail.
Robo Kichi held a collaboration with Macross Delta to celebrate the theatrical run of the Passionate Walkure movie in February. The collaboration featured special Walkure-themed food items and drinks which came with commemorative Walkure coasters. The screens throughout the restaurant also played clips from the Delta TV series along with the restaurant’s regular anime lineup.
Speaking of which, the non-collaboration lineup wasn’t too shabby either. While the menu changes depending on what anime are playing, while we were there they had Ideon Gauge pizza, Roy Focker highballs, and Kakizaki steak… KAKIZAKIIIIIIIII!

After months of anticipation, failed ticket raffle applications, and frantic glowstick purchases, Wakure’s 3rd Concert, “Walkure Won’t Betray You”, was held in Yokohama last weekend.
Fans flocked to Yokohama Arena over two days, filling the 17,000 seat arena to capacity on both days to hear the girls from Macross Delta… along with some very special guests.
