I was feeling seriously crappy (nice little summer cold) and the concert hall was a 90-minute train ride away. Moreover, when I got there, my phone battery died. There were THIRTEEN THOUSAND people here… how the hell was I gonna find Tochiro, since he had my ticket?

Macross FB7 Talkshow

On November 11, 2012, a special screening of Macross FB7 was held at Shinjuku Picadilly Cinema which included a talkshow by director Tetsuro Amino and special guests Aya Endo, Megumi Nakajima, and Yoshiki Fukuyama. The timing of the event was unusual in that it took place a whole two weeks after the movie debuted on October 20 and talkshows such as these normally happen on opening day.

Macross Net Meeting – Listen To Us Talk!

The third Macross Net Meeting ‘Listen to us talk!’ was held on Niconico Douga on Wednesday April 10th. The special was hosted by Chiaki “Kyanchi’ Kyan and featured three main guests. Or should that be May’n guests? Yes, in attendance was the singing voice of Macross Frontier’s Sheryl Nome, May’n, as well as Shion Tsuchiya (Ash in Macross THE MUSICULTURE) and famed Valkyrie artist Hidetaka Tenjin.
